What This Site Is All About

To many,The Bhagavad-Gita means nothing.They don't know what it is,much less what it has to say.
For those who are Christian,like the Bible,The Bhagavad-Gita is also a holy book.
I was once a Christian.In fact, I was a Christian for many decades.However,over the years there were always nagging questions I had about what was contained within the Bible.Through the years I came to have many questions and concerns about Christian doctrine and the multitude of Christian faiths and denominations that exist.Now, before you dismiss me as just another casual or lapsed Christian,let me say this.I studied the Bible for decades.I took colleges courses in subjects relating to the Bible and Christianity.I looked into dozens of different Christian faiths and denominations.I researched the secular historical aspects of Jesus and the early Church as well as how and who put the Bible together.My study did not result in my accepting what I, as a Christian, was supposed to accept and believe. I should quickly add,that I did not accept what my particular faith and denomination expected me to believe.And that was part of the problem.Hundreds of faiths and denominations that call themselves Christian have a wide variety of views and interpretations as it relates to the Bible.From time to time I will post a section entitled Concerns Relating To the Bible and Faith.But,this will be a very small part of what this site is all about.It's not about trashing the Christian faith or the Bible.
No,it's about all things relating and pertaining to The Bhagavad-Gita and Lord Krishna. This book has been aptly described as dealing "with the spiritual foundation of human existence."A book that can transform the way you think and live.
Whether you are a Christian,atheist,Jew,Muslim or whatever,take some time and consider with an open mind what I post on this site.You have nothing to lose but much to gain.
